•Begonia Bakehouse • is a French inspired artisan bakery. If you enjoy working mornings with every afternoon off, we have a role for you. We are currently seeking an experienced Baker who is independently motivated and can work as part of a collaborative team. Good time management and communication skills are a must.

You will be responsible for:
• Early morning production, baking all bread and pastries
• Assist with making croissants
• Properly and safely use all equipment (Mixer, Oven, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with other team members ensuring timelines are met.
• Assisting with bread production and other pastries within the bakery.
To join our team, you'll need:
• Ability to work an early morning shift
• Possess excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to self-manage and problem solve
• Ability to complete recipe calculations
• Ability to read and follow recipe directions
• Ability to meet daily production requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Cleanliness
• Able to lift 20kg repeatedly and able to stand for full shift
Education:
High school diploma. Formal baking training is an asset.
Experience:
• Baking of pastries and bread.
Hours of Work:
Currently the working hours are Wednesday - Friday 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 4:00 a.m. - noon.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
