Join our dynamic team as an Early Childhood Educator at Level 2 or 3 for the OSC (Out of School Care) Room, where you will play a vital role in nurturing and guiding young children during their formative years. Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to the needs of children in the OSC room, incorporating literacy education, physical education, and Montessori principles where applicable. Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development across all domains, including social-emotional skills, motor skills, and early intervention strategies. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment by managing classroom routines and ensuring adherence to child welfare standards. Collaborate with families, specialists in special education, and other educators to support children with diverse needs, including those requiring additional early intervention services. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, developmental milestones, and incident reports to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and best practices.



Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education methodologies such as Montessori or preschool curricula. Proven experience working with children in daycare settings. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies. Ability to adapt teaching approaches for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention support. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with literacy education techniques and teaching physical education activities that promote healthy development. Experience with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods to assess learning outcomes accurately. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
