Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging learning experiences that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in our care.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support the educational journey of each child. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Collaborate with other educators to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring all students feel valued and included. Utilize technology for administrative tasks such as lesson planning, record keeping, and communication.

Skills

Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French , Spanish is a plus. Leadership abilities to guide and inspire young learners effectively. Proficient in computer operation for educational purposes and administrative tasks. Strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently. Experience in childcare settings with a focus on nurturing developmentally appropriate practices. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
