Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for our first ever summer camp! As a ECE - Summer Camp, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, supervising campers, and fostering their personal growth and development. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with children and want to make a positive impact in their lives.

Duties

Supervise and ensure the safety of campers during all activities. Plan and lead engaging educational and recreational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal development. Educate campers on various topics including nature, arts and crafts, sports, and more. Provide support and guidance to campers in developing social skills and resolving conflicts. Maintain a clean and organized camp environment. Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members. Assist in the preparation of camp events and special activities. Monitor camper behavior and provide positive reinforcement to encourage participation.

Skills

Strong background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred. Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is highly desirable. Ability to educate and engage children through creative teaching methods. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. A passion for outdoor activities and promoting a healthy lifestyle among campers.
