Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to creating inclusive learning experiences for all children, including those with special needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the educational process. Assess children's progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support children with disabilities or special education needs. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus. Strong background in childcare and experience working with young children. Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently. Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively. Leadership abilities to guide classroom activities and mentor assistant teachers or interns. Computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes. Classroom experience that demonstrates an understanding of early childhood education principles. Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
