Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. You will work closely with children aged 0-5 years, guiding their learning through play-based activities and structured lessons. Your commitment to early childhood education will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a supportive community. Facilitate group activities that encourage teamwork, communication, and social skills. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Skills

Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks. Familiarity with early childhood assessment tools is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 7 per week

Licence/Certification:

Early Childhood Educator certification Level 2 OR 3 (required)
