Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Support children with special needs or disabilities, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning requirements. Organize classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Ensure a safe and healthy classroom environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or a level 2 or 3 in Early Childhood Education. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. Proficient computer skills for lesson planning, documentation, and communication purposes. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently. Time management abilities to balance multiple tasks effectively within the classroom setting. Leadership qualities to guide children in their learning journey while promoting teamwork among staff members. Pay: $23.35-$27.55 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
