Job Summary

Bumblebee Child Care Centre is seeking a passionate, loving, skilled, energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. If you have a love for educating and guiding young minds, we welcome you to be a part of our new daycare facility.

We are seeking both part time and full time staff,Must be flexible with work hours and available Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Hours of work may vary from 30 - 40 hours a week

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Conduct assessments to monitor children's progress and development
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
- Ensure the daycare facility is clean, organized, and meets safety standards at all times

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Required to have Early Childhood Education Level 2 or Level 3 certification ONLY

Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting

Required to have recent Child Intervention Check, Criminal Record Check, and FIrst Aid/CPR

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities in guiding and supervising children
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial
- Proficient in computer operation for educational purposes
- Excellent time management skills to balance teaching responsibilities effectively
