We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. This role requires strong communication skills, both in English and preferably in another language, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. The Early Childhood Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our students while promoting inclusivity and diversity.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through interactive activities.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
Maintain accurate records of each child's development and learning milestones.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program and share best practices.
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting lessons to meet diverse learning requirements.
Utilize computer operation skills for administrative tasks such as lesson planning and record keeping.
Encourage bilingual communication where applicable to support diverse learners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation effectively.
Bilingual abilities (English and another language) are a plus; proficiency in French is particularly valued.
Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting all learners.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students, including those with disabilities.
