Job Summary

Willoughby Christian Reform church is seeking to hire an ECE Assistant or RA to work in our daycare Ministry, (Covenant Kids Christian Daycare) working in our before and after school room. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant or RA to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. You will implement age-appropriate curricula and activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child. This is a split shift shared with another staff: 6:45- 9 / 1-5 and 7:15- 9/ 1- 6. During seasonal school breaks the shfit will be full time. (Pro D Days,spring break, summer break and christmas break)

Duties

Supervise and engage with children in a safe nuturing environment Support children's social ,emotional and physical growth through play. Communicate effectively with children, parents, regarding their child's progress and needs. Program planning... (activities, art, games, devotions etc) Maintain a clean , organized welcoming environment Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience. Work full time hours during Pro D Days and seasonal school breaks Transport children to and from school . Class 4 drivers will be needed.

Qualifications

Current Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate or RA requirements Current First Aid Cleared Criminal record check Class 4 drivers license or obtain it within 3 mont probation Excellent communication skills; fluent in writing, comprehension and speaking English Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Energetic , patient and creative A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth. Team player: work well with others and on your own Excellent computer skills ( word, excel. publisher)
Covenant Kids Christian Daycare is a faith based Christian Daycare. established since 1992. Part of our curriculum with the children is reading them bible stories, leading devotions and praying with them. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
