Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in our before/after school care program (7 am - 8:45 am & 2:30 - 5 pm, Monday to Friday) working with School Aged Children (5 - 10 years old children). The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children to create a nurturing and safe environment. This person may be required to work at our other locations in Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam but will be told in advance (will require a drivers license and car).

Duties

- Plan activities that meet the individual needs of each child
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Communicate effectively with parents

Requirements

- Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate

- Clear Criminal Record Check (we will pay for it), 3 references, Emergency Child Care First Aid
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting

- Be familiar with the early learning framework and able to implement in the program

Location:

3064 Glen Dr, Coquitlam, BC V3B 2P9 (will require flexibility in working at our other locations in Port Coquitlam).

Hours:

7 am - 8:45 am & 2:30 - 5 pm (school days)

Wage:

Starting at $19 per hour (more depending on experience)

Job Type: Part-time

Licence/Certification:

Early Childhood Assistant Certificate (required)
