An opportunity to play your part. As the Early Careers Specialist, the main purpose of this exciting new role is to provide first line of support, working alongside the Early Careers Manager in ensuring the performance and provision of all our apprenticeship programmes across Centrica. In addition, a key part of the role is to actively participate as part of the wider Early Careers team to identify areas of opportunity to provide beneficial learning experiences for new and existing colleagues.

The day to day

• Provide support to the Early Careers Manager in the continued development of all our apprenticeship offerings and related projects across the Centrica business.
• You will manage the planning and execution of each apprenticeship programme, knowledge sharing sessions, performance points and learner experiences.
• Enjoy acting as a participant in external apprenticeship inductions and a bridge between our contracted delivery partners and internal operational teams.
• Develop and implement best practices for all apprenticeship provision in alignment with current inspection frameworks and Self-Assessment Report outputs and actions.
• Coordinate activities and engagement sessions to promote the use of apprenticeships within the Centrica Performance & Talent strategy.
• Provide support for operational Line Managers from onboarding to completion of their new apprentices into learning programmes.
• Coordinate the provision of MI across all learning programmes that clearly identifies specific performance measures and data points.
• Help establish insights into enhancing the Early Careers proposition, attending sector events, performing market research, and providing recommendations to support the overall Performance & Talent strategy

What we need from you

• Excellent understanding of the Early Careers marketplace inc. apprenticeships, graduate programmes & Year in Industry
• Understanding of the Levy funding mechanisms for apprenticeships, T-Levels and Bootcamp programmes.
• Strong knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework and related elements within all apprenticeships.
• Understanding of the current rules around the Department of Education / Education, Skills and Funding Agency frameworks
• Experience of SharePoint site construction

• Demonstrable skills around delivering and constructing apprenticeship programmes from L2 to L7.
• Experience of engaging with external awarding, certification, and assessment organisations to drive improvement.
