Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all federal, state, and local driving regulations while ensuring compliance with company policies. Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to maintain vehicle functionality.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations. Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180.00-$200.00 per day
