Job Title: DZ Truck Driver

Location: Windsor, ON
Shift: Tuesday - Friday
Start time: 5:30 AM

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-conscious DZ Truck Driver to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for independently operating a waste collection truck, servicing residential neighborhoods by collecting garbage and yard waste. This role requires a high degree of physical stamina, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness Operate the waste collection truck independently, following assigned routes through residential areas Manually lift and load waste and yard bins into the truck without assistance, demonstrating physical strength and endurance Accurately complete all collections in a timely manner, adhering to scheduled routes and customer expectations Maintain compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements Communicate any operational issues or concerns to supervisors promptly
Requirements:

Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record Minimum of 1 year of experience driving with a DZ license, preferably in waste collection or similar industries Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting, bending, and climbing Must be able to start early and work extended hours as required to complete routes
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
