Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Driver will be operating a Tri-Axle dump truck to haul materials from site to site. Paving experience is preferred but some training can be provided at no cost to applicant. Candidate must be self sufficient and motivated and perform duties as a professional driver and as instructed. Full time shift of 8-12 hours daily, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle when needed. Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, compliance, and customer service.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other loading equipment is a plus. Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for troubleshooting vehicle issues. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
