Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, excellent navigation skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight during transport. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details as required by regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation regulations. Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick fixes on the road when necessary. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process. Must provide Driving Abstract. At least 3 years DZ experience.
