Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles and equipment.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness. Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading tasks.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Must have 3 yrs of COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE and 1yr of FLATBED EXPERIENCE. Experience in commercial driving is preferred; familiarity with freight transportation is a plus. Knowledge of automotive repair is advantageous for maintaining vehicle performance. Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and clients.
