ShareLocated in Oakville, ON , ONSalary: $26.00-$30.00We are seeking a DZ driver with heavy equipment experience to join our team ! The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating a variety of heavy equipment machinery and posses and DZ License** No Students or non PR residents will be considered**Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Class DZ driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with a clean driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract
• Experience with heavy equipment is a must
• Familiarity with local roads and experience in operating and delivering heavy construction equipment is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up equipment from customer sites and other branch locations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.
• Obtain customer signatures on contracts and delivery receipts.
• Instruct customers on equipment operation when necessary.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, checking gas, oil, and other fluid levels.
• Plan travel routes considering road construction, traffic congestion, and weather conditions.
• Supervise loading and unloading procedures to prevent cargo damage.
• Perform maintenance work on the company truck as needed.
• Promptly notify dispatch of any delivery issues or vehicle breakdowns.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including maintaining a valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
