Job Overview


We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to manage various types of freight.

Responsibilities



Operate vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles as needed.

Experience



Proven Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Experience with freight handling and transportation logistics is beneficial. Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is desirable for maintaining vehicle performance. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
