Position: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical Architect
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (On-site, 3 days/week)
Job Type: Contract

Are you a seasoned technical architect with extensive experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations? Do you thrive on designing and implementing highly effective system architectures? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client\'s team as a Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Technical Architect in a contract role.
As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Architect, you will be responsible for:

- Applying industry best practices and scalable components to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the technology ecosystem
- Analyzing proposed changes to assess feasibility and understand their impact on the solution, data collection, and interfaces
- Leading the evaluation and assessment of inbound requests from business partners in collaboration with solutions and enterprise architecture teams
- Designing robust system architectures and providing peer support to internal teams and vendors as required
- Identifying and resolving risks and issues while establishing effective paths to resolution
- Developing architecture artifacts in alignment with best practices and regularly reviewing them with key stakeholders
- Recommending technical solutions that align with the architecture roadmap and IT strategic plan, focusing on maximizing the customer experience, optimizing IT spend, and reducing operational risk
- Offering technical guidance to platform and development teams during the implementation of various solutions
- Staying up-to-date with evolving industry trends and best practices to align IT with leading standards
- Ensuring the company\'s enterprise architecture framework aligns with the IT strategic plan
- Evaluating inbound IT initiatives and projects and recommending technical solutions that are in line with the IT strategic plan
- Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to develop an architecture roadmap and ensure alignment of proposed solutions with the IT plan
- Working closely with IT development and operations teams to design and implement solutions
- Building strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and senior management to ensure alignment between IT strategy and business objectives
- Preparing and presenting reports on technical solutions to IT and business leaders and other stakeholders
- Effectively communicating technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Completed Post-Secondary education in computer science, IT, or related areas OR an equivalent combination of experience and completed post-secondary education
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical architecture in an enterprise level
- Proficiency in Microsoft D365 API specification and development skills, including RESTful API integration
- Proven work experience with D365 ERP, specifically in Finance and Operations
