Parkland County has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Functional Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations position in the Information Services department. Reporting to the Manager, Business Solutions, the Functional Analyst - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is responsible for analyzing business requirements and configuring the Dynamics 365 F&O platform. This position will provide functional expertise to support, optimize and enhance D365 operation and the financial and operational processes relying on D365. The Functional Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 Dynamics 365 F&O will collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand business requirements, and translate them into efficient system configurations and solutions. This position will require expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O in order to develop and enhance a mature, performant and effective ERP environment. This position must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders with the demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines. The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a degree or post-secondary diploma in related technology discipline is required. Relevant courses pertaining to D365 Finance & Operations functionality/technology would be considered an asset.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification would be considered and asset.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of functional experience/ working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Azure, Power BI, and PowerApps is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in D365 F&O functional support and analysis. Expert knowledge of D365 F&O modules is required.
  • This role must possess proven expertise and experience developing, testing and deploying financial and budget reports using Management Reporter. This position is required to be well-versed in D365 F&O\'s underlying data, data structures and inter-application (e.g. A/P to G/L) data relationships and processes.
  • The demonstrated skill/experience working with Power BI, Common Data Model, Data Flows and Microsoft Dataverse to extend D365 F&O reporting, analytics and analytical data stores is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience with system integrations, D365 data models, data migration, data flows, and reporting within the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment is required. Must possess strong working knowledge of accounting processes and principles. Experience with D365 F&O within a municipal government environment and its supporting systems and applications would be considered an asset.
  • Must possess excellent analytical and root-cause-analysis, customer service, and trouble shooting skills with the demonstrated ability to perform complex end to end solution delivery and maintenance.
  • Experience or certification in Microsoft Azure or other cloud/SaaS platforms and experience/certification in recognized/industry-standard software implementation and life cycle methodologies would be considered an asset. Experience with ERP implementation lifecycles, methodologies and project management would be considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver\'s License. Upon hire, a satisfactory current Driver\'s Abstract must be provided.
The total rewards package for this position includes: A starting annual salary of $80,645 - $100,807 based on a 35-hour work week and option to join the Earned Day Off Program.
