Les equipes Technologie d'Expedia travaillent en partenariat avec les equipes Produits pour creer des produits, des services et des outils innovants afin d'offrir des experiences de haute qualite aux voyageurs, aux partenaires et a nos employes. Une plateforme technologique unique alimentee par les donnees et l'apprentissage automatique permet d'offrir des experiences securisees, distinctes et personnalisees qui favorisent la fidelisation et la satisfaction des voyageurs.


Au sein des equipes Technologie d'Expedia, notre organisation Contenu permet a Expedia Group d'acquerir, d'enrichir et de distribuer des centaines de millions de ressources (images, textes, attributs, videos, etc.) utilisees par nos differentes marques et nos differents secteurs d'activite. Nous sommes egalement responsables du contenu lie aux destinations qui est essentiel aux voyageurs en matiere d'information, d'inspiration et de confiance. Un contenu riche, precis et attrayant aide les voyageurs a decouvrir de nouveaux endroits, a definir des attentes realistes et a prendre des decisions de reservation en toute confiance. Notre equipe se consacre a fournir des solutions logicielles hautement evolutives dans un environnement de developpement agile, a l'aide de technologies de pointe. Dans ce role, vous aurez les responsabilites suivantes :



Travailler en etroite collaboration avec votre equipe immediate pour repondre a toute interrogation ou preoccupation; communiquer avec votre gestionnaire et votre equipe pour resoudre les problemes Developper et faire l'essai des applications logicielles standards ainsi que des programmes et des procedures correspondants pour assurer qu'ils respectent les exigences en matiere de conception Appliquer les principes de conception logicielle, les structures de donnees ainsi que les algorithmes et les fondements de l'informatique pour ecrire un code clair, gerable, optimise et modulaire respectant les conventions de nommage Comprendre les principaux composants de la conception d'une equipe en posant des questions a vos collegues Ameliorer les capacites de codage en se familiarisant avec de nouveaux outils et langages de programmation Travailler dans un environnement de travail dynamique pour produire des logiciels de haute qualite

Votre experience et vos competences :



Vous avez recemment obtenu un baccalaureat ou une maitrise en informatique ou en genie informatique, ou vous detenez une experience professionnelle pertinente equivalente. Vous avez realise au moins 3 projets logiciels par vous-meme a l'ecole ou au cours d'une experience professionnelle pertinente comme un stage. Vous avez de l'experience avec les concepts de base d'au moins un langage de programmation (p. ex. Java, Kotlin). Vous avez des connaissances en matiere de structures de donnees, d'algorithmes et de notions de la programmation orientee objet. Vous avez une certaine experience avec les interfaces API REST/JSON ou gRPC. Vous possedez de solides competences en communication et vous avez la capacite de creer des liens avec une variete de partenaires (p. ex. des personnes a l'interne, a l'externe, dans des postes techniques et non techniques). Le bilinguisme en francais et en anglais est un atout.

We work in a DevOps model where developers are involved in all aspects of software development from design to test, implementation, deployment, monitoring and support.

In this role, you will:



Work closely with your immediate team for questions and concerns; connect with your manager and team to solve problems Develops and tests standard software applications and related programs and procedures to ensure they meet design requirements Apply software design principles, data structures, algorithms and computer science fundamentals to write code that is clean, maintainable, optimized, modular with good naming conventions Understand the major components of a team's design by asking teammates questions Improve coding abilities by being introduced to new tools and programming languages Work in a fast-paced workplace to produce high-quality software

Experience and Qualifications:



You have a recent Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent related professional experience You have built at least 3 software projects by yourself at school, or during a relevant working experience like an internship You have familiarity with basic concepts of at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Kotlin) You have knowledge of data structures, algorithms and OOP concepts You have some experience with REST/JSON or gRPC APIs You have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people) Bilingual in French and English preferred

The total cash range for this position in Montreal is $68,000.00 to $95,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $109,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
