Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, dirt, and construction debris. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and materials transported. Communicate effectively with site managers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions. Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading tasks.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles. Familiarity with automotive repair principles is a plus for maintaining vehicle functionality. Experience in freight transportation is beneficial for understanding logistics and delivery processes. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
