We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a DTF Print Operator. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Direct-to-Film (DTF) or heat-transfer printing, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality. This is a full-time, on-site position based out of our Beamsville, ON headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Equipment Operation:

Operate and maintain DTF printers, heat presses, and related equipment. Prepare, print, and cure DTF transfers according to specifications. Ensure colour accuracy, print alignment, and consistency across all orders. Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on print and press equipment. Assist in organizing workflow to meet daily production targets.

Quality Control:

Inspect printed films and finished garments to ensure they meet Xeist's quality standards. Identify and resolve print quality issues quickly and effectively. Maintain detailed records of production output and quality checks.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with the production, design, and order management teams to ensure jobs move seamlessly through the production process. Communicate clearly about any material or equipment needs. Support additional production tasks as needed, including garment prep, labeling, and packaging.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in apparel printing, ideally with DTF, DTG, or heat-transfer production. Ability to prepare and print artwork files correctly -- including sizing, colour setup (CMYK/white underbase), and layout alignment. Experience working with Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / CorelDRAW to adjust artwork for print. Understanding of file formats (PNG, TIFF, PDF, vector files) and how they translate to print quality. Proven attention to detail and quality in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to operate and maintain printing equipment and heat presses. Basic computer skills; familiarity with design or RIP software is an asset. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Reliable, organized, and self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
