Hazzardprinting Ltd. is a small business in Burnaby, BC V5J 3J3. We are professional and agile.

Our company is looking for print operator to join our team. Someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and has an aptitude for working with digital media and diverse materials on a consistent basis.

Please note this is a production/manufacturing position, not a graphic design position.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

Set up a variety of artwork for print using design software such as illustrator Operate printer and RIP software Laminating Contour cutting, weeding Mounting to rigid substrates Colour profiling, colour management Change out media rolls, handle large substrates
Required Skills

Good computer literacy (file manipulation) Basic graphics skills (indesign/illustrator) Eye for detail Ability to learn new skills and processes quickly, work independently Good with your hands, but also able to work with fine details precisely Physically Fit, able to lift large 4'x8' substrate material and lift 50lbs Able to stand on your feet most of the day, making/building sign products Fluent english written/oral, must have excellent proficiency in english Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple tasks and react quickly to a changing requests or tight deadlines Completion of secondary school Punctual, dependable
Bonus Skills once required skills are met:

Basic graphics skills Previous sign production experience Knowledge of printing system and colour output Install experience (vinyl graphics) Driver's license and your own transportation Forklift certified
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
