Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching new drivers the skills necessary to operate vehicles safely and confidently. This role involves providing clear instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring students meet all licensing requirements. Prior experience in tutoring or teaching, along with strong communication skills, is highly valued. The Driving Instructor will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their driving goals while promoting safe driving practices.

Duties

Conduct driving lessons for students of various skill levels in a safe and professional manner Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning needs and progress Provide constructive feedback to improve students' driving techniques and confidence Prepare students for their driving tests by reviewing road rules, safety procedures, and test requirements Maintain accurate records of lessons, student progress, and evaluations Ensure all lessons adhere to state regulations and safety standards Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes responsible driving habits Stay updated on traffic laws and best practices in driver education

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom or one-on-one setting Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students of diverse backgrounds Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and driver education techniques Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt teaching methods as needed Prior classroom experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for instructing new drivers is essential
