What you will be doing
  • Road test any potential employees and/or agency drivers and ensure all drivers are in good standing with MTO.
  • Assist with the implementation of a driver training program and monitor completion of courses.
  • Analyze data captured by telematics in relation to driver behavior and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Perform additional training with existing drivers as required.
  • Investigate all accidents / incidents involving MLF vehicles, follow-up on repairs and insurance claims. Communicate with Fleet Manager and departments to identify root cause and determine corrective actions.
  • Be willing to travel to the accident site and provide support if required.
  • Responsible for licensing of acquired equipment and plate renewals.
  • Assist with keeping fuel fobs up to date and placing bulk fuel orders. 9. Provide formal and informal feedback to drivers to ensure their continuous development and overall contribution to the achievement of Maple Lodge Farms business strategy.

What you will bring
  • Valid AZ driver license, clean driver record and commercial driver abstract
  • Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience preferably in food industry with three years in a people leadership role.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety & quality.
  • Ability to lead and delegate to a team of employees.
  • Problem identification and solving capabilities with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail (accuracy)
  • General computer skills (e.g. MS Office, SharePoint) Education and Certification Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a related field an asset or Relative work Experience
