Job Description
Product Delivery:
Safely transport goods from the distribution center or warehouse to various store locations or directly to customers.Loading and Unloading
: Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage during transport.Inventory Verification
: Cross-check delivery orders with shipment items, ensuring accurate and complete delivery.Route Planning
: Plan efficient delivery routes to meet time-sensitive schedules, optimizing for traffic and road conditions.Vehicle Maintenance
: Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. Report any maintenance needs or issues.Adhering to Safety Standards
: Follow all safety regulations, both on the road and while loading/unloading products. Ensure proper handling of perishable or fragile goods.Customer Interaction:
Provide friendly and professional service to customers during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns related to the delivery.Documentation
: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and any issues encountered during the delivery process.Compliance with Regulations:
Follow all local and provincial traffic laws, as well as specific company policies regarding delivery and transportation.Assist Store Operations:
When not driving, assist in the store with stock replenishment, organizing inventory, or other operational tasks as needed. * Other duties as required.
