Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore, learn, and grow. The Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering engaging instruction, and fostering positive relationships with students and their families.

Duties

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards. Provide individualized support to students to enhance their learning experience. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Maintain a safe and organized classroom space conducive to learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience. Integrate creative activities such as cooking projects into the curriculum to enrich learning.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in early childhood education settings. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively. Experience working with children in various capacities, demonstrating patience and understanding. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Cooking skills are a plus, as they can be incorporated into educational activities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
