Visual Arts Teacher

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic people who want to share the joy art can bring to young lives!

Our Visual Arts Teachers teach, train, mentor and equip students from young children to adults in an always positive and creative environment. Our teachers also work in a team along side other experienced, seasoned, knowledgeable and experienced teachers to enhance the valuable skills needed to mentor students.

What

does a Visual Arts Teacher do?

Work in a group setting with students ages 5 to 17 Implement existing curriculum teaching students different techniques, styles and types of visual art in classes solo or along side one of our experienced Art Teachers. Create and expand the class and programs curriculum Shares and mentors their love of visual arts in a positive way with eager learners! Teaches classes in various forms of painting, drawing, sketching and use of mixed media Candidate needs to have either a diploma or Bachelor degree with 1 year teaching experience preferred Part time position - Pay starts $25/hr.

Part-time, mainly Evenings or Saturdays during a scheduled weekly time block We are a multi disciplined Fine Arts School located in the Sullivan Heights area of Surrey We are a non-profit society with a student-first centered approach Our mission is provide quality fine arts training in fun, vibrant and positive environment!

Prerequisites:

Have college level visual arts training or equivalent experience or education. Ability to work independently and with a team. Reliable Transportation
