Job Description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, the Drafter is primarily responsible for consistently and accurately generating a high volume of approval drawings based on sales proposals, order confirmations, and various available information sources. The Drafter works closely with Design Drafters and Project Managers to ensure proper production execution and smooth project progression. They must maintain a steady workflow to the plant to prevent any disruptions that could cause production delays.

The Drafter is responsible for identifying any discrepancies, notifying their immediate supervisor through effective communication, and taking appropriate actions to resolve the issues.

Key Responsibilities

Produce approval drawings Review and revise approval drawings Create assembly drawings Gather project-specific details from the assigned Project Manager Contribute to departmental goals and continuous improvement initiatives Respond to internal support requests Prioritize tasks according to the production schedule Perform other related duties as required

Education and Experience Required

D.E.P. in Building Drafting, Industrial Drafting, or equivalent 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or related environment

Key Competencies

Proficiency with AutoCAD Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
