About the role

Reporting to the Design Team Lead, the Drafter will collaborate closely with the design team to support all phases of project development, from concept through to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, building codes, and proficiency in Revit. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and communicates effectively to help bring design concepts to life with accuracy and efficiency.

Annual Salary Range:

$60,000-$75,000

Being detail-oriented and highly organized. Flexibility and ability to multi-task. Being precise in architectural drawings. The ability to complete well-executed projects while working under deadlines/budgets. Presenting design concepts and proposals. The ability to produce quality drawings with required software in all the architectural phases. The ability to work well within a team setting and collaborate on designs.

What you'll be doing

Preparing schematic and design development proposals. Following specification and calculations to create various technical drawings. Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with Revit system. Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations. Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.

What we're looking for

Bachelors Degree in Architecture or relevant field. Minimum 4 years post graduate experience. Experience in the production of Schematic design and Construction Documents utilizing Revit software. Proficient with Revit software. Working knowledge of local building codes and bylaws. Experience with presentation design software would be an asset. Experience with visualization software considered an asset. An eagerness to learn and gain experience!
