Dozer Operators

for both

local and camp-based projects

. If you know your way around a D6 through D10, can work to grade with precision, and thrive in rugged field conditions, we'd love to have you on the crew.

What You'll Be Doing

Operate

dozers

safely and efficiently for all phases of site work.

Strip topsoil, rip hard ground, cut to fill, slope, place, and finish grade

across varying terrain. Support

lease building, reclamation, roadwork, pad prep

, and erosion control scopes. Follow

project grade plans, survey stakes, or GPS guidance

as required. Assist ground crew where needed and help maintain site flow and equipment access. Complete

daily machine inspections

, logging any issues or service needs. Follow all

Westcore safety policies

, field-level hazard assessments, and client site rules.

What You'll Need

2+ years' experience

on dozers in civil construction, reclamation, or oilfield services. Confident in both

bulk earthmoving

and

finish grading

. Able to interpret

grade specs, plans, and cut/fill requirements

. Experience with winter works and soft ground an asset. Positive, team-oriented attitude and pride in a clean, well-operated machine.

Minimum Requirements

Valid

Class 5 Driver's Licence

(clean abstract preferred). Safety tickets:

CSTS 2020 (or CSO), First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II

. Physically able to work

long shifts (up to 12 hrs)

outdoors in all weather conditions. Able to

lift 50 lbs

, climb equipment safely, and shovel as needed. Must provide your own

CSA-approved 6" lace-up work boots

. Pass a

pre-employment drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work test

.
