Excavator Operators

to join our crew for

local and camp-based projects

What You'll Be Doing

Operate

excavators

safely and efficiently Perform all aspects of

earthmoving

--digging, trenching, backfilling, sloping, grading, stockpiling, and material loading. Complete

lease builds, road construction, pad work, and reclamation

scopes. Read and follow

grade plans, stakes, or GPS

, depending on the site. Support ground crews and perform basic labour tasks when needed. Conduct

daily inspections

and ensure your machine is running smoothly and safely. Follow all Westcore safety procedures, FLHAs, and PPE requirements.

What You'll Need

2+ years experience

operating heavy excavators in a civil, mining, or oilfield setting. Comfortable working on varied terrain, including muskeg, soft ground or winter conditions. Capable of detailed finish work and trimming. Able to

read grade plans

, work independently, and spot potential issues. Must be safety-focused, reliable, and ready to work day or night shifts as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Valid

Class 5 Driver's Licence

(clean abstract preferred). Safety tickets:

CSTS 2020 (or CSO), First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II

. Able to pass

pre-employment drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing

. Must supply own

6" steel-toe CSA-approved boots

. Willing to work

outdoors in all weather conditions

on

10-12 hour shifts

.
