Dipped Donuts Inc is a local gourmet donut company and we are growing to more locations around the city - with this growth we need awesome people that can help produce our popular donuts.
We are looking for Full time and Part time Candidate to fulfill this role. Pay will start at an hourly basis for the first 4 months and then switch to salary
Job Specs:
Weekday Shifts - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night
Weekend shifts - Friday and Saturday night
Evening - Overnight - Approx 6pm start to 4am-5am finish
Making brioche style dough and vegan dough, rising, proofing, cutting and frying.
Understanding temperature control and adjusting the quantities in the dough accordingly.
Responsibilities
Prepare and mix ingredients to create dough for a variety of baked products.
Ensure all dough is made according to established recipes and quality standards.
Monitor the fermentation and proofing processes to achieve optimal texture and flavor.
Package finished goods for sale, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety protocols.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production flow.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or during catering events.
Skills
Proficient in baking techniques and food preparation methods.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with strong communication skills.
Culinary experience with a background in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
