We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor access points, ensure compliance with security protocols, and contribute to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests as they enter and exit the facility, ensuring a positive first impression. Monitor the entrance and exit points using surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to prevent unauthorized access. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any potential security risks or safety hazards. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to maintain safety standards. Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, following established protocols for loss prevention. Maintain accurate records of visitor logs and report any suspicious activities to management. Provide assistance in managing crowd control during events or peak times.

Skills

Proficient in surveillance techniques and operation of CCTV systems. Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices. Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals. Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations while making quick decisions. A commitment to upholding safety standards and promoting a secure environment for all.

Pay: $16.54-$20.07 per hour
