Job Summary

Commercial Truck Driver with 3 years of Commercial truck driving experience is needed for hands-on work in collecting and delivering donations around GTA. The job involves driving around the city and picking up donations from donation bins. If you are interested, read carefully below.

Location of truck pick-up and drop off - Keele&Steeles. You can start immediately.

Responsibilities and Duties

You must:

- Present a letter of insurance or insurance company name proving 3 years of commercial truck driving experience

-be punctual and show interest in the job

-be available from 5-6 days a week (full-time)

-be available for the entire day (average shift is ~10 hours)

-be able to perform a circle check on a truck and fill out Inspection sheet

-be prepared to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions

-be able to lift 50+ lbs at once, and

-be able to handle 5000 lbs of product daily - this is the Average Weight you will deliver daily

-be able to keep track of donations collected at every single location

-be able to answer your phone while on duty - good communication is a must

-attend 2 Unpaid days of training as a helper to another driver, who will show how everything works

Qualifications and Skills

-be Self-Employed or Incorporated. This is a contract position and NOT a T4 position

-have a Full G license, candidates with 3 years of commercial truck driving experience will be preferred

-be comfortable with driving a small commercial truck like Hino E195 - 18' in the city and highways and parking them in tight spaces
