Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment for dogs during their stay at our daycare facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the physical ability to handle active dogs throughout the day.

Duties

Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime to ensure safety and appropriate behavior Assist with feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and equipment to maintain a hygienic environment Engage dogs in interactive play and socialization activities to promote mental and physical well-being Communicate with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, needs, and any concerns Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs Observe dogs for signs of illness or distress and report any issues to management promptly

Requirements

Prior experience working with animals or in a pet care environment is required Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners and visitors Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in active play with dogs throughout the day Compassionate attitude towards animals and a genuine interest in their well-being Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Reliable, responsible, and able to follow safety protocols at all times
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$22.52 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
