If this sounds like you, MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law is seeking a full-time Document Management Administrator to work based out of our office in Halifax, NS.
MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law is a civil litigation boutique firm representing clients across Atlantic Canada and beyond. We currently have offices located in New Glasgow, NS; Halifax, NS; St. John's, NL; and Moncton, NB.
The Document Management Administrator will be part of a newly developed team responsible for gathering client medical and treatment charts from various health care professionals.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent role-related education and experience
1-3 years relevant experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
Demonstrated proficiency in document management
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of speed and accuracy
Proficiency and aptitude for working with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Case Management software
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative and exercise sound judgement
Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Able to be flexible, and adapt easily to change
Experience working in the field of personal injury law is an asset
Oral and written proficiency in French and English is an asset
