Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Document Control Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the internal project documentation for one of the largest remediation projects in Canada.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

  • Responsibility for record keeping and information management support to organize and maintain all required documentation related to MCM and C&M activities, including those records presently existing at the Site.
  • Manage the internal Controlled Project Documents editing, review, updating, approval and publication process using Microsoft SharePoint and Teams to facilitate team collaboration. This will also include scheduling and tracking the annual review and updating of Controlled Project Documents such as SOPs, management plans, policies and forms.
  • Develop Microsoft SharePoint sites for C&M and MCM project teams and manage document libraries within these sites, including controlled access files and folders.
  • Integrates AI technology to leverage the document control system.
  • Optimize document control processes to minimize double handling of information.
  • Manage the project document control mailbox, sorting and filing project correspondence to create a robust archive of project communications with the client, subcontractors and third-party stakeholders.
  • Ensure that communications and reporting promotes and protects Parsons\xe2\x80\x99 reputation and underscores its authentic commitment to safety, quality, integrity, diversity, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all communications and client deliverables align with Parsons brand standards, including taking the lead on formatting/re-formatting as required.
  • Foster strong and cooperative relationships with the Client and their stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the collection of qualitative and quantitative data from key personnel to support the drafting and finalization of reports and communication.
  • Manage a Microsoft SharePoint-based project deliverables tracker.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for document control, records management and filing of project communications including AI integration.
  • This position will be required to travel to the Faro Mine Remediation Project (FMRP) in beautiful Faro, Yukon at a minimum of 4 times per year.
What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:
  • Completion of post-secondary degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience.
  • Solid data collection experience, including analysis and collation ability for managing large datasets.
  • Experience in the creation of appropriate methodologies for the collection of both qualitative & quantitative data.
  • Must understand structure of databases and have experience with document management and electronic document management systems.
  • Demonstrated robust skills in MS Office suite of tools, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required, with the capability to shape a compelling narrative across audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint is essential
  • Versatility, judgment, maturity and the ability to work in a team.
What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:
  • Graphic design experience is an asset.
  • Experience working with a variety of different data systems and programs.
  • Experience working with diverse teams remotely.
  • Familiarity with Forms on Fire, SQL databases and Kahua would be considered an asset.
