What you can expect to do here:
The Senior Document Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of project documentation, ensuring that all project data is accurately distributed to stakeholders, aligned with project requirements, well-organized, easily accessible, and securely maintained. This role also requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders to support efficient document management processes and systems.
The key responsibilities of the position include:
Develop and execute a document management strategy aligned with existing systems and client-specific needs.
Assist in implementing and improving document control procedures and best practices.
Provide team members with ongoing training on relevant processes, procedures, and systems as necessary.
Process and manage engineering documents and drawings in accordance with established guidelines and client-specific procedures.
Track revisions and maintain version control for technical drawings and project documents.
Conduct quality assurance checks on outgoing submissions.
Oversee the distribution and exchange of records between all relevant stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with engineering disciplines and external stakeholders.
What you'll bring to WSP:
10+ years of experience in document management, preferably in an engineering or related industry.
Advanced proficiency in relevant software tools, including Microsoft SharePoint, Bluebeam Revu, Bentley ProjectWise, and other document management platforms.
Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all staff levels within the office and remotely.
Knowledge of project documentation and engineering terminology.
Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Post-secondary education would be an asset.
