About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Controller to lead all accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting

functions for our manufacturing company. This role ensures accurate IFRS reporting, strong internal

controls, sound inventory management, and effective financial support for operations. This position reports to the VP-Finance

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll interface, cash management). Assisting VP Finance on group consolidation financial statements, MD&A and reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financial statements and management reporting
packages.

Manage cost accounting: standard costs, BOM accuracy, overhead absorption, and manufacturing
variances.

Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventory, and valuation. Support operations with KPIs, profitability analysis, and production cost insights. Manage tax compliance, regulatory filings, and external audit activities. Improve financial systems, ERP processes, and internal controls. Prepare and support SR&ED claims. Special projects and ad hoc analysis as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred. 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing. Strong knowledge of IFRS, cost accounting, and inventory processes. ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.). Strong Excel and analytical skills; excellent communication and organizational abilities.
