As ATB\xe2\x80\x99s next Diversified Underwriter, you will evaluate and assess client risk and ability to repay debt obligations on behalf of the bank as part of the lending process.
Responsibilities:

• Makes sound credit decisions for clients
• Partners in first line of defense for risk management
• Assesses risk and profitability, maintains accounts, underwrites credit and ensures optimum client servicing
• Ensures overall loan quality and supporting documentation is within the acceptable ATB measures and identifies all cross-selling opportunities while maintaining adherence to established service level agreements
• Analyzes financial statements, assesses risk and determines which ATB products and services best meet the needs of the client
• Focuses on producing high volume and quality of loans

Requirements

• Business or accounting degree or diploma or related business experience
• Business Accreditation level I & II or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years experience underwriting business loans with a strong preference for individuals with business underwriting or lending experience
• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
