The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of the New Brunswick Retail Distribution network.

What this role is all about:

Daily management of the direct to store deliveries for major retail accounts within New Brunswick

Participate in and suggest cost savings initiatives to improve network results

Analyze and explain the costs associated with routes under your responsibility

Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of route equipment (ex: handhelds, printers, pallet movers, etc)

Support Agropur\xe2\x80\x99s third party carriers with billing concerns and route quantities analysis

Work with our internal operation teams in warehousing and production to ensure accurate, on time delivery for our customers

Respond to service requests from our external customers related to delivery schedules or delivery requirements

Assist with Holiday Planning and delivery schedules for all Nova Scotia Super Routes;

Facilitate off day and emergency order requests

Participate in the weekly Saturday rotation for all distribution activity in New Brunswick

Additional tasks and general duties as required

What you need to join our team:

A college or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience;

At least 1 year of experience in a related field, previous experience in a logistics environment is preferred;

Solid knowledge of computers and computer applications (especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook); exposure to Discoverer and VELO an asset;

Strong command of English (written and verbal);

Knowledge of the New Brunswick region would be considered an asset.
