What this role is all about:

• Daily management of the direct to store deliveries for all accounts in Newfoundland.
• Participate in and suggest cost savings initiatives to improve network results.
• Analyze and explain the costs associated with routes under your responsibility.
• Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all Newfoundland fleet.
• Support Agropur?s third party carriers with billing concerns and route quantities analysis.
• Work with our internal operation teams in warehousing and production to ensure accurate, on time delivery for our customers.
• Respond to service requests from our external customers related to delivery schedules or delivery requirements.
• Assist with Holiday Planning and delivery schedules for all routes.
• Facilitate off day and emergency order requests.
• Additional tasks and general duties as required.

What you need to join our team:

• College or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field, previous experience in a logistics environment is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of computers and computer applications (especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook); exposure to Oracle or SAP.
• Strong command of English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of the Newfoundland region would be considered an asset.
