Who We Are Looking For



We are seeking a dependable and organized Dispatcher to support our Static and Mobile Security teams. The Dispatcher plays a critical role in coordinating schedules, managing last-minute changes, and ensuring timely responses to calls and incidents. This position requires strong multitasking ability, attention to detail, and sound judgment under pressure.

The Dispatcher reports directly to the Static and Mobile Security Operations Manager and works closely with field supervisors, team members and clients to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities



Scheduling & Coordination



Oversee daily and weekly scheduling for Static and Mobile Security teams. Adjust schedules promptly to accommodate call-outs, emergencies, and last-minute site changes.

Dispatch Operations



Respond to calls, messages, and alarms in a timely, professional manner. Coordinate and dispatch guards, mobile units, or supervisors as needed. Monitor ongoing operations and maintain accurate records of all communications and incidents.

Emergency & Alarm Response



Receive and dispatch alarm calls and emergency requests. Ensure proper follow-up and documentation for all emergency events.

Administrative & Communication Support



Maintain up-to-date records in scheduling and dispatch systems. Communicate clearly with field staff, management, and clients regarding scheduling, updates, and response protocols. Prepare incident or shift summary reports when required. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications



Minimum 2 years of dispatch or operations coordination experience, preferably in the security or emergency response field. Valid Alberta Security License. (Required) Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License. (Required) Minimum 5 years of Canadian driving experience with a 5-year clean driving record (no at-fault claims or demerits). (Required) Must maintain 5-year continuous automobile insurance history. (Required) Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certificate. (Required) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) and comfortable using scheduling or dispatch software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Calm, composed, and reliable under pressure. Strong organization and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay



Starting at $19.00 per hour

Schedule



8-hour/12-hour shifts Day/ Overnight shifts Monday- Friday/ Weekends
