What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do on a typical day:
- Communicate with customers, the operations team, and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Recognize and resolve documentation errors.
- Assist drivers with shipment and trip information relative to assigned orders.
- Process shipments and trips to ensure on-time service to our customers.
- Source and book loads on Load link.
- Negotiate rates on loads and book contracts with customers.
- Communicate any issues with customers and the operations team.
- Create lasting relationships with customers, drivers, and coworkers.
- Book Pick up & Delivery appointments and assure they are made on time.
- Enter & Update order info in the Dispatch software.
- Provide updates on in-transit loads.
- Resolve any issues as they arise.
At a minimum, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:
- 5 years of related Trucking industry work experience.
- Strong computer and typing skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends if needed.
- A solid book of contacts in the industry.
