Job Description

Maple Leaf Construction Ltd. is currently hiring an experienced seasonal Dispatch to execute the day-to-day activity of drivers to meet our business needs.

DISPATCH

As a Dispatch your duties will include:

Coordinating with field staff and dispatching private drivers running various materials

Planning and assigning drivers in real-time to fulfill daily requirements

Ensuring all drivers time, job number and quantities are logged, documented, and invoiced accurately

Requesting and updating permits as required

Handling complaints and investigating accident and/or incidents

Continuously improve route planning and dispatching processes to reduce delays and maximize delivery success

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

A minimum 2+ years of dispatch experience in aggregate or heavy construction operations

Background in logistics, transportation, or construction preferred

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure

Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Able to manage multiple drivers, routes, and priorities under tight timelines

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.

Able and willing to work long hours Monday to Friday with some weekend work

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
