We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Cook/Dishwasher

to join our team in a fast-paced, dynamic restaurant environment. This role is essential in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to maintain a clean and organized kitchen. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Support serving staff by providing clean plates, glassware, and utensils as needed. Participate in inventory management by reporting supplies that need replenishing.

Requirements

Availability:

Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Flexibility:

Willing to work occasional evenings for special events (wine dinners, banquets, First Friday, etc.).

Commitment:

Full-time preferred, but part-time considered (minimum 3-4 shifts per week). Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques an asset. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong cleaning and organizational skills with an emphasis on maintaining a sanitary workspace.
