One Eyed Jack Restaurant & bar is looking for

experienced Dishwasher to join our new dynamic team in a completely renovated restaurant in the city of Kingston. One Eyed Jack is an established Pub and Grill with an incredible menu, atmosphere and up to date setting. This restaurant won "Best Restaurant" in Durham region in 2022 and we are continuing to achieve this again in the coming year. We are looking for delivering world-class culinary experiences to our guests with genuine warmth and care. We are building a grade A team and looking for fulltime /part time staff. Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards Ensure all kitchenware is cleaned and properly stored in a timely manner to support kitchen flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing station, including sweeping, mopping, and garbage disposal Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and surfaces as assigned Support kitchen team in maintaining high sanitation standards in accordance with Health and Safety, WHMIS, and MSDS guidelines Report any malfunctioning equipment or supply deficiencies to the Chef immediately Follow all opening and closing procedures for the dish station and assist with other kitchen tasks as required Assist with basic food prep (e.g., washing produce, opening deliveries) under supervision, following safe food handling practices Operate dishwashing and standard kitchen equipment with care and attention to safety Work collaboratively with all team members, treating colleagues with respect and professionalism Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment that supports One Eyed Jack's quality and service goals

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
